HSE Administrator

At Hitachi Energy in Jefferson City, we're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HSE Administrator to help drive our Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) initiatives forward. This role is essential to maintaining a robust management system that supports our people and operations.
You'll be at the heart of our HSSE effortstracking performance, supporting training, managing documentation, and helping coordinate impactful events. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Enter and manage data for incidents, audits, and hazard reports
- Track and report HSSE performance metrics using spreadsheets and databases
- Monitor training completion and maintain training records
- Issue certifications for authorized employee training (e.g., forklift, hazardous materials)
- Update HSSE documents and post physical copies when needed
- Support planning and execution of HSSE events (e.g., flu clinics, blood drives)
- Manage contractor qualification records and badge access systems
- Generate reports from powered industrial truck impact monitoring systems
Your Background
Experience with SharePoint, MS Word, Excel, and database systemsStrong organizational skills and self-motivationClear and effective communication abilitiesCPR, AED, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogen certification (training provided)Four-year degree in a relevant field preferred but not requiredAbility to provide short-term shift coverage with noticeMore About Us
