Security Professional - Armed Government Patrol

As a Security Professional - Armed Government Patrol in Polkton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

Pay Rate : $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeMon05 : 45 PM - 06 : 00 AMTue05 : 45 PM - 06 : 00 AMSun05 : 45 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the location.
  • Interact professionally with visitors, staff, and / or contractors while maintaining a visible presence.
  • Follow all company protocols and client-specific instructions related to armed patrol duties.
  • Assist with access control and / or visitor management as required by site policies.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least one year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and / or military roles.
  • An active armed guard card or license is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
