Budget Analyst, Contract Manager, And Account Program Coordinator
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as budget analyst, contract manager, and account program coordinator for the various appropriated funds budgeted for the Alaskan Command (ALCOM). Responsibilities include developing, reviewing, and analyzing ALCOM programs, capabilities, and requirements in relation to the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process and the development of financial plans and programs to support the command's strategic objectives and critical capabilities. Analyzes budgetary requirements and prepares budgets. Controls funds through budget execution, regulation of funds for authorized programs, and obligation and expenditure of funds within prescribed limits for all annual appropriations. Manages budget execution work involving obligations incurred, actual expenditures of a budget with multiple sources and types of funding. This includes direct annual, multi-year, and / or no-year appropriations, apportionments, allotments, transfer of funds from other agencies and refunds. Manages the Defense Travel System, Government Travel Card, and Government Purchase Card programs.
