Responsibilities :

• Coordinate sourcing and vendor management needs with Tenneco Clean Air Purchasing team.
• Develop and implement comprehensive commodity sourcing strategies aligned with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
• Identify best in class sources, processes and solutions.
• Perform purchasing activities for direct material commodities. Includes negotiating pricing, terms, delivery, and quality.
• Manage the RFQ / RFI process including RFQ development, follow-up, analysis and recommendation.
• Maintain required KPIs (material cost reduction, payment terms, contracts / T&Cs, supplier rationalization, localization, etc.) and manage vendors and vendor relationships to ensure on-time delivery, fill rate, and quality expectations.
• Prepare required data and or documents for supplier meetings or negotiations.
• Prepare financial analysis of RFQ results and communicate optimal options to stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and production, to ensure that sourcing decisions meet technical and quality requirements.
• Monitor market trends, global supply chain dynamics, and geopolitical factors affecting the automotive industry to proactively manage risks and opportunities.
• Conduct periodic business reviews with vendors to address open issues and opportunities.
• Evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

Education : Bachelor's degree in business (Materials Management, Supply Chain or Engineering required)
