DIRECT SERVICE PROVIDER (DSP) / CAREGIVER
Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH), a non-profit service provider in North Carolina and Virginia, is looking for compassionate, caring, and dedicated individuals to join our team as full-time or part-time Caregivers (DSPs). You will support clients with developmental disabilities or mental health challenges.
We are currently hiring for the following locations and shifts :
Cary - M-F from 4pm to 7pm (15hrs. a week).
What You’ll Do :
In this role, you will make a significant impact on the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by assisting with daily living activities, employment support, and social engagement. Your work will help clients develop skills for greater independence both at home and in the community. Daily documentation and reporting are required. As a Direct Service Provider (DSP), you will provide care in clients' homes and may assist with transportation. Under supervision, you'll help clients learn socially appropriate skills and offer families much-needed breaks.

Ideal Candidate Attributes :
To join our team, you must have a willingness to provide care in various community settings. We require proof of a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, a good driving record and current auto insurance. We do require a background check and Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
