Knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles. Experience with financial model developments; building models from ‘scratch’. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong verbal and written skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization Operationally oriented with the ability to identify business trends. Accounting software experience including general ledger. Reporting software experience such as Microsoft Access / Crystal Reports. Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations. Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst will work with various levels of management and other employees to drive the development of operational reporting, financial models, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis. This position reports to the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis
Job Description
- Develop and prepare monthly operating and financial performance packages, performing analysis to identify profitable growth opportunities
- Continually identify and report on key metrics
- Develop monthly and quarterly forecast models, performing variance analysis of actual to forecasted results.
- Lead the annual budgeting process.
- Develop financial models for new business development, working with various levels of management to identify and utilize key operating assumptions, presenting to executive leadership and other key stakeholders.
- Partner with the accounting team to understand and communicate operating results.
- Other duties as required to support the execution of both long-term and short-term strategic plans.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in accounting and / or finance.
