- Los Angeles, CA We are looking for a Licensed General Contractor who takes ownership, solves problems, and delivers results.
This role goes beyond typical construction management — we need someone who can oversee the full scope of a 17,000-square-foot custom home project in Los Angeles , from foundations to final inspections, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities :
Oversee all phases of construction, including foundation, framing, utilities, interior / exterior finishes, and final inspections.Manage subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.Obtain necessary permits, schedule inspections, and ensure compliance with California building codes and Los Angeles city regulations.Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress updates.Communicate regularly with homeowners, architects, engineers, and consultants.Proactively identify and resolve construction challenges to minimize delays and cost overruns.Maintain a safe, efficient, and organized job site. Requirements :
Active California General Contractor License (Class B required).Minimum 5–10 years of residential construction experience, with proven success in custom home projects.Strong knowledge of Los Angeles permitting process, building codes, and zoning regulations.Track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and manage complex project timelines.Foundation expertise is a plus.Familiarity with construction management software is a plus. This is a contractual position for a 2-year project, with compensation structured as a salary plus bonus to be determined based on experience and project scope.
