Mortgage Loan Officer
Plano, TX
ARC Group is seeking motivated Loan Officers to join our Fortune 500 clients team in Plano, TX. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and expert mortgage guidance in a fast-paced call center environment . You will assist new and existing clients in exploring mortgage options for purchasing a home, refinancing, or obtaining a home equity line of credit.
Position Overview
The Loan Officer is responsible for answering inbound calls and initiating outbound outreach to help clients identify the most suitable financing solutions. This includes analyzing financial goals, recommending loan products, completing mortgage applications, collecting documentation, and keeping clients informed throughout the lending process.
This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements . All employees engaged in residential mortgage origination must register with the federal registry system and maintain good standing. Failure to meet SAFE Act requirements may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional client care by actively listening and understanding client needs.
Handle inbound and outbound calls to provide guidance on mortgage products, refinancing, and home equity solutions.
Analyze financial and credit data to recommend appropriate lending options.
Submit mortgage applications and assist clients in gathering required documentation.
Maintain ongoing communication with clients, referral partners, and internal teams via phone, email, and messaging systems.
Follow defined lending processes, policies, and risk management guidelines.
Identify opportunities to recommend additional banking products or services through partner referrals.
Required Qualifications
1+ year of sales and mortgage experience with a strong focus on relationship-building and client service.
Proven ability to assess client needs, recommend financial solutions, and promote alternative products.
Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and non-verbal) with a professional, confident presence over the phone.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a high-volume environment.
Comfortable working weekends and / or extended hours as needed.
Technical aptitude to learn and navigate multiple platform systems.
Demonstrated ability to balance sales performance, operational risk, and client relationship care.
Preferred Qualifications
Contact center experience.
Knowledge of mortgage loan products (Conventional, Jumbo, Government).
Familiarity with FHA / HUD guidelines, underwriting, processing, and closing procedures.
Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide alternative financing solutions.
Strong consultative skills with the ability to ask key questions and uncover opportunities.

Education & Schedule
Education : High School Diploma or GED required.
Work Schedule : MondayFriday, 10 : 00 AM 7 : 00 PM (Central) with rotating Saturdays, 8 : 00 AM 3 : 30 PM.
Training Schedule : MondayFriday, 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM (Central) for approximately 8 weeks (subject to change).
