Site Safety Manager (EM385-1-1) (Washington)

We are seeking an experienced Site Safety Manager to provide safety leadership on large-scale federal / government construction projects. This position requires a proven safety professional with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive a proactive safety culture across all site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site safety professional representing the general contractor, ensuring compliance with all project, client, and federal safety requirements.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments, maintaining accurate logs, reports, and documentation.
• Implement, monitor, and enforce EM 385-1-1 safety plans and all project-specific procedures.
• Lead toolbox talks, orientations, and training sessions for site personnel.
• Maintain regular on-site presence and actively participate in project and client meetings to provide proactive safety guidance.
• Investigate and document accidents, incidents, and near misses, ensuring corrective actions are taken to prevent recurrence.
• Support additional project-specific safety initiatives and compliance requirements as needed.
