Position Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanical Maintenance Technician with a working knowledge of electrical systems to support the day-to-day maintenance of our facility and equipment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional with strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities, basic electrical repair knowledge, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, motors, pumps, conveyors, HVAC, and facility equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns, component failures, and system malfunctions
- Conduct basic electrical work such as replacing sensors, motors, fuses, switches, and wiring under supervision or within safe voltage ranges
- Assist with equipment installations and facility improvements
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and work orders
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and parts inventory
- Follow safety procedures and participate in ongoing safety training
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferredMinimum 2–4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance in an industrial, manufacturing, or commercial settingBasic electrical troubleshooting skills and familiarity with electrical tools and safety practicesAbility to read technical drawings and schematicsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in varying environmental conditionsWillingness to be on-call or work overtime as neededPreferred Qualifications :
Experience with PLCs, control systems, or industrial automationOSHA safety training or other relevant certificationsExperience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software
