Collections Supervisor - Covered Care

Collections Supervisor Las Vegas, CA | On-site ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Supervise, coach, counsel, participate in hiring and firing staff.
  • Monitor collection calls for accuracy, FDCPA compliance, and successful collection call.
  • Apply and enforce company and department policies in conjunction with dept manager.
  • Produce collection / production for Supervisor / Management Review
  • Successfully train subordinates.
  • Responsible for the professional advancement and improvement.
  • Handle escalated customer / subordinate complaints
  • Monitor and service 90 day / FPD buckets as needed.
  • Directly assist dept manager in defusing any complaint or customer / debtor concerns
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned
  • Extensive FDCPA knowledge and application of its rules and regulations
  • Supervisory / Team lead experience
  • Ability to motivate staff to work as a team
  • Ability to simultaneously talk and type
  • Must be a Great at Multi-tasking and work well under pressure

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & LICENSES :

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) or higher.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the collection industry
  • Knowledge of collection, repossession, and skip tracing.
  • Able to work any and all hours, including Weekends and evenings
  • Ability to value collateral using Manheim / KBB
  • Extensive knowledge of collection, repossession, and skip tracing
  • Expert in negotiations
  • What's the expected pay for this role?

  • $25 per hour plus potential bonus
  • The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable.
