Shift : 12-Hour Days | Rotating Day Off During the Week

Pay Range : Local – $60–$63 / hr. (W2) | Travel – $2550 / weekly (36 hrs, blended)

Job Summary :

Seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist – First Assist to support surgical teams in a high-acuity ICU setting . The ideal candidate will assist surgeons during procedures, ensure proper sterile technique, and promote optimal patient outcomes throughout the perioperative process.

Responsibilities :

• Assist surgeons during operative procedures, anticipating needs and providing required instruments.
• Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly arranged.
• Support patient preparation, positioning, and draping before surgery.
• Handle specimens appropriately and ensure accurate labeling and documentation.
• Monitor and maintain equipment functionality, reporting issues as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Adhere to all infection control, safety, and hospital policy standards.
