About the Role :

The Sterile Processing Technician PRN Days at Morgan Medical Center plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of medical instruments used in patient care. This position is responsible for the meticulous cleaning, decontamination, sterilization, and preparation of surgical instruments and equipment to meet stringent healthcare standards. The technician supports various clinical departments by providing sterile supplies promptly and efficiently, thereby directly contributing to positive patient outcomes. Working on a PRN basis, the role requires flexibility and adaptability to meet fluctuating demands while maintaining high-quality standards. Ultimately, this position safeguards patient health by preventing infections through rigorous adherence to sterilization protocols and regulatory guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Sterile Processing Technician training program or equivalent experience in sterile processing.
• Basic knowledge of sterilization techniques, infection control, and medical terminology.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and protocols accurately.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle medical instruments safely.
