As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.

Assist visitors, employees, and / or contractors with directions and general inquiries as needed.

Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal management and site supervisors.

Maintain a professional presence while representing Allied Universal at the location.

Minimum Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.

Experience with alarm panels is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
