Microbiology Laboratory Technician About the Role

The client’s company is seeking a Microbiology Laboratory Technician to perform microbiological testing on pharmaceutical products, raw materials, and medical devices. You’ll work in a BioSafety Level-2 (BSL-2) laboratory under GLP conditions supporting both research and quality control activities.

Microbiology Laboratory Technician Key Responsibilities

• Perform USP, ASTM, ISO, and CLSI-based microbiological tests (sterility, bioburden, microbial limits, time-kill, MIC / MBC).
• Maintain microbiological cultures and record colony-forming unit (CFU) data.
• Document results per Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP).
• Support equipment qualification, calibration, and validation projects.
• Follow established safety procedures within a BSL-2 environment.
