Responsibilities

• As the US HR Generalist at Syre, you will be instrumental in bringing the organization's vision, mission, and values to life. In this key role, you will serve as a strategic advisor and trusted partner, ensuring people initiatives align with business objectives to attract top talent and foster a thriving workplace culture. You will report directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), collaborating closely with leadership to drive organizational success.
• Serve as a HR partner to leaders, aligning people initiatives with business goals.
• Provide daily tactical people support to employees across the two North Carolina facilities and remote staff in the United States, incuding Syre's Mebane, NC R&D Facility and Fayetteville, NC Manufacturing Plant.
• Split time between both locations to ensure consistent HR presence and engagement, spending 2 / 3 days onsite each week per location. Initial work will be onsite in Mebane 4-5 day per week.
• Oversee employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.
• Implement scalable people policies and procedures tailored to a startup environment.
• Recruit for open jobs and manage onboarding to build a strong workforce.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, in partnership with a PEO provider.
• Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
• Act as a change agent, driving people initiatives that support business growth.
• Partner with leadership to foster a positive, diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
