Pastry Cook – The Americano
The Americano is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Pastry Cook to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, creativity, and consistency, with a strong foundation in pastry techniques.
Responsibilities :
- Execute daily production of desserts, breads, and pastry items according to recipes and standards.
- Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation for all plated desserts and pastry menu items.
- Assist in prep for special events, features, and seasonal menu changes.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen and storage areas.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Work collaboratively with the pastry team and BOH staff to ensure smooth service.
Qualifications :
Previous pastry or baking experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate with a strong work ethic and desire to learn.Knowledge of pastry fundamentals (doughs, custards, mousses, chocolate work, etc.) a plus.Ability to follow precise recipes and standards with consistency.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Positive attitude, reliability, and ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.Schedule & Compensation :
