Job Description

IKO is a global leader in manufacturing roofing products with production facilities worldwide, we are currently seeking a Maintenance Planner / Scheduler to join our team of skilled professionals based at our Clay Hill, Florida plant. This plant produces premium roofing shingles and in a high speed, continuous, asphalt shingle manufacturing process environment.

As a Maintenance Planner / Scheduler, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating a broad spectrum of preventive, routine, repair and emergency maintenance activities at the plant, using the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) as a primary tool.

Typical Work Activities Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Planning and preparing work orders for work to be performed on schedule and in a safe, reliable and efficient manner.
  • Ensuring appropriate resources are in place and ready for work orders based on workload, skill sets, available parts, etc.
  • Scoping out and developing work for hourly personnel for weekly and outage work.
  • Maintaining and building equipment, bill of material, and other info in a computerized maintenance management database.
  • Creating, updating and scheduling monthly PM's, closing out completed PM's, and improving / adjusting PM's as necessary.
  • Tracking all equipment information, including spare parts and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in a technical field preferred.
  • Two years of experience in industrial maintenance planning / scheduling preferred.
  • Two years of hands-on experience within a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience in mechanical design is a plus.
  • Strong computer skill and experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal, presentation) and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
