Job Description

IKO is a global leader in manufacturing roofing products with production facilities worldwide, we are currently seeking a Maintenance Planner / Scheduler to join our team of skilled professionals based at our Clay Hill, Florida plant. This plant produces premium roofing shingles and in a high speed, continuous, asphalt shingle manufacturing process environment.

As a Maintenance Planner / Scheduler, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating a broad spectrum of preventive, routine, repair and emergency maintenance activities at the plant, using the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) as a primary tool.

Typical Work Activities Include, But Are Not Limited To

Planning and preparing work orders for work to be performed on schedule and in a safe, reliable and efficient manner.
Ensuring appropriate resources are in place and ready for work orders based on workload, skill sets, available parts, etc.
Scoping out and developing work for hourly personnel for weekly and outage work.
Maintaining and building equipment, bill of material, and other info in a computerized maintenance management database.
Creating, updating and scheduling monthly PM's, closing out completed PM's, and improving / adjusting PM's as necessary.
Tracking all equipment information, including spare parts and documentation.

Qualifications

Associates degree in a technical field preferred.

Two years of experience in industrial maintenance planning / scheduling preferred.

Two years of hands-on experience within a manufacturing environment preferred.

Experience in mechanical design is a plus.

Strong computer skill and experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Excellent communication (written, verbal, presentation) and interpersonal skills.

Exceptional organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
