Director of Surgical Services

Summary : The Director is responsible for all nursing operations in Surgery, Post-Anesthesia Care, Outpatient Services, the Endoscopy Lab, and Sterile Processing. This role works closely with medical staff, nursing teams, and leadership to develop, implement, and maintain clinical programs that enhance quality of care and drive patient and provider satisfaction. The Director also provides leadership in managing the department’s financial and human resources.

Qualifications : Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; demonstrated management experience may substitute for the degree. Must be a licensed RN in Nebraska or a Compact state, with current ACLS and PALS. CNOR certification preferred. 5–8 years of experience preferred; 2–3 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Schedule : Full-Time; Monday–Friday, day hours with back up occasional on call hours to cover department's needs (20-minute call back radius is required).
