Key Responsibilities :

Respond promptly to in-house call situations, providing timely consultations and interventions for hospitalized patients with GI conditions.

• Perform a variety of inpatient GI procedures, including ERCP (required) and potentially EUS (highly preferred) to diagnose and treat complex GI issues.
• Collaborate effectively with the emergency department to manage patients presenting with GI emergencies.
• Conduct comprehensive inpatient consultations and provide ongoing care management for patients with a variety of GI conditions.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently within the Cerner EMR system.

Qualifications for Success :

Current board certification in Gastroenterology or eligibility within 3 years of residency completion is mandatory.
