🏥 Travel RN – Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU)\n\nDuration : 13 Weeks\nShift : Nights, 3x12s (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)\nSchedule : Every other weekend & holiday rotation (if applicable during assignment)\nFloating : House-wide if not needed in ICU\n\n🩺 Job Description\n\nThe CVICU Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill cardiovascular patients. The RN utilizes advanced clinical judgment, knowledge of specialized equipment, and evidence-based practices to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Adherence to the ANA Code of Ethics and Ohio Nurse Practice Act is required. Care is patient- and family-centered, age-appropriate, and culturally sensitive.\n\n🏨 Unit Overview – CVICU\n\n28-bed cardiovascular intensive care unit\n\nFast-paced environment specializing in : \n\nOpen heart surgery\n\nHeart transplants\n\nVentricular assist device (VAD) implantation\n\nAcute cardiology and heart failure management\n\nPatient care includes : \n\nPost-operative recovery\n\nInotropic support\n\nTemporary & permanent ventricular assist devices\n\nHemodynamic monitoring\n\nImpella, IABP, ECMO, C-Mag\n\nCRRT and ultrafiltration\n\nStrong interdisciplinary support and leadership\n\nNationally recognized standards of care with focus on patient outcomes and safety\n\n✅ Requirements\n\nRequired Experience : \n\nMinimum 2 years of ICU experience\n\nPreferred Experience : \n\nCVICU, MICU, or SICU\n\nCertifications : \n\nRequired : BLS, ACLS (AHA)\n\nPreferred : NIHSS
