St. Dominic Village is one of the leading senior care providers in the Greater Houston area. We are a faith-based, non-profit, continuing care retirement community dedicated to Caring for Our Elders with the Compassion of Christ.

As a ministry of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, St. Dominic Village provides a seamless continuum of care, comprised of short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing care, assisted living, independent living, the Archbishop Joseph A. Fiorenza Priest Retirement Residence, and respite care services.

Who We Are Looking For :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Revenue Cycle Clerk to join our skilled nursing facility team. The ideal candidate MUST have a strong background in healthcare billing and collections, particularly within long-term care or post-acute care settings. This position is on-site & plays a critical role in ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and maintaining strong communication with insurance providers, residents, and families.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Accurately process and submit claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurers
  • Monitor and follow up on unpaid claims to ensure timely collections
  • Reconcile payments and remittances to resident accounts
  • Respond to billing inquiries from residents, families, and insurance carriers
  • Collaborate with the business office manager to resolve billing discrepancies
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payer rules, regulatory changes, and facility policies
  • Assist with month-end closing processes and reporting
  • Support audits and compliance reviews as needed

Qualifications :

  • Must be PROFICIENT in Point Click Care (PCC)
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting, business, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in revenue cycle, billing, or collections within a healthcare or skilled nursing facility
  • Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer requirements
  • Proficient in billing software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
