Overview Senior Product Designer (12-Month Contract) | Hybrid | Mountain View, CA. This hybrid role requires 3 days per week onsite for in-person collaboration.

This role is for the Core Platform Experiences – Developer Design Group in Mountain View, focusing on enterprise workflows, developer tools, and platform experiences—not consumer-facing apps. You27ll work on complex system design, enterprise applications, and data visualization that enable developers to configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize critical systems.

What You’ll Do Translate complex developer workflows into clear, intuitive product experiences

Design web application flows for configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and remediation

Create and test analytics dashboards and data visualizations to drive insight-based decisions

Identify cross-workflow patterns and define scalable frameworks and reusable solutions

Partner with research for discovery projects; conduct lightweight validation independently

Present work and rationale clearly, including process files to show tradeoffs

Collaborate with designers, researchers, engineers, content strategists, and product managers across global teams

Contribute to design critiques and integrate feedback effectively

Must-Have Skills 4+ years in enterprise application design with multi-step workflows

Experience with developer experience or platform tools (developer portals, infrastructure, capability integration)

Proven ability in data visualization design (system performance, diagnostics, or operations)

Strong foundation in end-to-end product thinking, systems design, and pattern recognition

Figma mastery and a portfolio showing full process, not just polished screens

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice-to-Haves Experience with AI tools in the design process or designing AI-powered solutions

Contribution to design systems and scalable component libraries

Familiarity with Kubernetes environments or operational tooling
