Overview
Jacobs is seeking a Munitions Response and Recovered Chemical Warfare Materiel (RCWM) Operations Consultant to lead munitions response and RCWM projects, grow opportunities, and manage delivery. You will apply your technical and management experience to develop competitive strategies to win work in this sector and support business development with technical approaches and market knowledge. You will mentor junior technical experts and project managers, and help implement corporate policies and procedures in sales and operations. You will collaborate on proposals, including technical approaches, pricing, and assignment of key personnel, and you may manage more complex projects.
Base pay range
$102,800.00 / yr - $151,000.00 / yr
Responsibilities
- Support the business development team by developing technical approaches and strategies for munitions response and RCWM work, leveraging industry knowledge, relationships, and market understanding to position for opportunities.
- Grow your career by interacting with key clients, increasing competitiveness and market share, and mentoring junior technical experts and project managers.
- Contribute to development and implementation of corporate-wide policies and procedures in sales and operations.
- Collaborate on execution of the Scope of Work for Stand-alone Contracts and Task Orders, develop proposal responses (technical approaches and pricing), and assign key personnel.
- Manage more complex munitions response and RCWM projects as required.
- Help clients achieve their goals through strategy design across Munitions Response projects and applying state-of-the-art RCWM investigative techniques and remediation technologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, environmental science, geology or related technical field.Experience in Munitions Response and RCWM investigation and remediation with emphasis on positioning for, bidding and winning firm fixed price (FFP) projects, field operations, and project management.Advanced knowledge and experience in RCWM, including :investigations and remedial / response actions
regulations, policies, and requirementsoperations, procedures, and safety requirementsagents, munitions, delivery and storage systems, and related hazardsdetection, monitoring, and remote operation and sensing technologiesdisposal, neutralization, and demilitarization technologiespersonnel, equipment and munitions / container hotline and decontamination procedurespreparing / reviewing work plans, safety plans, and required ESSs / ESPs and CSSs / CSPsquality control, quality assurance, and USACE requirements and specifications5+ years' experience bidding and managing munitions response and RCWM projects.Additional Desired Skills and Experience
Experience in successful bidding and delivery of projects that include decontamination and demolition of facilities contaminated with explosives, CWM, and / or biological contaminants.Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG) license or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.Experience working with key USACE Military Munitions Design Centers and Districts.Experience with U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville's Chemical Warfare Materiel Design Center (CWMDC); CBRNE Analytical and Remediation Activity; Combat Capabilities Development Command – Chemical Biological Center; and / or Recovered Chemical Warfare Materiel Directorate.Experience in cost estimating munitions response and RCWM projects.RCWM specialized training / certifications.Location

Benefits and compensation
The base salary range for this position is $102,800.00 to $151,000.00.
