The Bilingual Health Care Assistant (HCA) serves as the first impression of Planned Parenthood South Atlantic (PPSAT) by providing friendly and efficient services to clients arriving at the health center for services or information. The HCA is responsible for maintaining front office, back office, assisting providers with daily in-office procedures, blood draws, and provide patient education.

This is a full-time opportunity, working 35-39 hours / week.
Tuesday : 7 : 45 AM - 3 : 00 PM or up to 4 : 45PM based on operational needs.
Wednesday : 9 : 45 AM - 4 : 00 PM
Thursday : 11 : 45 AM - 6 : 00 PM
Friday : 8 : 45 AM - 3 : 00 PM
Saturday : 7 : 45 AM - 2 : 00 PM or up to 4 : 45PM based on operational needs.
Please note that work schedule reflects the clinic schedule, and actual hours worked may vary due to day-to-day operations. All staff are expected to remain at the health center until all patients are checked out, documentation is completed, and the health center is cleaned.

All HCA's start at a non-negotiable $22.50 an hour, and are eligible for periodic pay-increases based on tenure and skill check-offs. Bilingual Skill - This position requires passing the Bilingual Assessment. Those who pass the Bilingual Assessment are eligible for an additional $1.00 added to their base rate. PPSAT's compensation philosophy is based in equity and transparency. The HCA Tier Program intends to maintain and promote internal equity, transparency, and skill growth.
