JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION : Project Manager / Estimator (Small Projects)

LOCATION / HOME OFFICE : Gas City, IN; and project sites within a 75-mile radius of Gas City

OBJECTIVE

We are seeking a highly motivated and experiencedProject Manager / Estimatorto join our team and contribute to the successful execution of our construction projects. This combined role is responsible for both estimating the costs of small-to-medium sized projects and managing those projects through to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of civil, concrete, carpentry, and steel construction methods and be able to effectively balance the demands of both estimating and project management in a fast-paced environment.

The broad range of projects will require a versatile and adaptable individual who can apply their knowledge and skills across different construction disciplines. They will need to understand the unique requirements and challenges of each type of project while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. The Project Manager / Estimator is responsible for providing first-line management of small to moderate construction projects, including scope development, request for proposal and award processes, construction oversight, and contract administration.

Project sizes ranging from $5,000.00 to $1,500,000.00 USD and will require frequent travel to project sites and interaction with customers. Project site locations are within a 75-mile radius of Gas City, IN.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Estimating :

Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors for small-to-medium sized civil, concrete, carpentry, and steel projects.

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, maintaining clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
