Overview
Library Specialist - Bookmobile (Temporary). The City of Chandler Community Services Department is seeking qualified individuals to join our team as a Library Specialist (part-time, temporary, non-benefited) for our Book Mobile. This position serves at the discretion of the department director. The work schedule is 19 hours a week, with occasional weekend and evening hours.
Current City of Chandler employees may only hold one position and are not eligible for additional part-time or secondary positions within the City of Chandler.

Who we are looking for
We are looking for a dynamic individual with a passion for Early Literacy and the ability to work with parents of children aged 0–5. This team member will play a key role in preparing and delivering engaging early literacy programs in the library and throughout the community, including on our brand-new mobile library. A strong commitment to customer service, teamwork, and collaboration is essential. Additional responsibilities include evaluating services and materials and applying foundational library standards, procedures, and techniques to support the daily operations of our mobile library. Experience working with Spanish-speaking customers is highly valued.
