The Lead Teacher at Children's Land is responsible for nurturing a vibrant and stimulating learning environment where preschool children can thrive. The Lead Teacher must have a comprehensive understanding of child development as it is essential to ensure the highest standards of childcare and education.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Develop and follow age-appropriate lesson plans that encourage physical, emotional, and intellectual growth.
- Monitor the children's developmental milestones and maintain detailed records of their progress.
- Facilitate a structured daily routine that includes playtime, learning activities, and rest periods.
- Always ensure the safety of the children by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic classroom environment to prevent the spread of germs and illnesses.
- Collaborate with parents to keep them informed about their child's development and any concerns.
- Work closely with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and cooperative working environment.
- Create and utilize educational materials to stimulate the children's senses and promote learning.
- Organize activities that encourage the children to explore their surroundings and develop their motor skills.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in early childhood education and care.
Qualifications :
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.2 year's experience working with preschool children.Mandated Reporter certificationCPR and First Aid certification.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.Patience and a genuine love for working with young children.Skills :
