Warehouse And Inventory Manager
The Warehouse and Inventory Manager is responsible for providing inventory control leadership to support manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include accurate control of all raw material inventory, cycle counts, physical counts, inventory reconciliation, item set-up, MRP, and O&D requests. Responsible for leading the activities of the Inventory Coordinators to ensure effective use of resources with a focus on inventory accuracy and customer service. This position provides support to other departments such as Accounting, FSQ, and the Distribution Center supporting inventory-related issues. The Inventory Manager maintains and improves the integrity of the inventory processes and systems, proactively monitors key indicators, and audits activities against Standard Operating Procedures.
Essential Duties
- Compare forecasted quantities, production scheduled quantities, and sales information against raw materials to confirm that delivery requirements on raw materials meet weekly production timing while staying within appropriate inventory levels.
- Monitor MRP and identify what purchase order quantities to create and the timing of delivery for raw materials and packaging.
- Understand the manufacturing process to assist in identifying problems and issues with materials and production schedules.
- Review existing inventory items and suggest improvements for reducing or consolidating components.
- Review and monitoring of silo activity to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained with minimal negative impact on daily production.
- Develop daily / weekly schedule for railcar soda delivery.
- Track and record railcar inventory adjustment (+ / -).
- Schedules annual silo calibrations and cleanouts.
- Review, manage, and adjust for expiring items.
- Manage monthly cycle counts / year-end physical inventory audit.
- Fill in during absences or assistance for inventory coordinators.
- Review safety stock quantities of each item periodically to ensure appropriate levels are set and maintained in GP.

Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED is required.Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field is preferred.Demonstrated organizational skills.Possess proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. JDE, and Vicinity.Possess proficiency in math.Possess the ability to supervise personnel and peers.Must be able to follow instructions and procedures precisely and consistently.Must be able to participate in a team environment.Must be able to be detail-oriented.Must be able to perform cognitive tasks.Must have effective written and verbal communication skills.Must have strong computer skills.Equal Employment Opportunity
