Role Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with strong proficiency in SolidWorks to support detailed CAD modeling, drafting, and mechanical design efforts. This role will focus on developing and refining 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings for our modular compute and cooling systems. You will support thermal, structural, and fluid simulations to validate and optimize designs prior to fabrication. The position involves close collaboration with our engineering team to translate design concepts into production-ready models and ensure accuracy across component interfaces and manufacturing documentation. The position also plays a key role in preparing products for production by applying design-for-manufacturing principles. Beyond execution, you will contribute to ongoing product refinement, identifying opportunities to simplify assemblies, improve durability, and enhance overall system efficiency.

The role is largely remote, with occasional travel for hands-on collaboration and prototype review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks (3D modeling, assemblies, drawings, and design for manufacture)
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, tolerancing, and materials
• Ability to interpret and generate engineering drawings with precision and clarity
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
• Prior experience supporting hardware development, product design, or manufacturing documentation a plus
