Bridge to Life, an affiliate of The Bridge School, delivers specialized services to individuals with extensive speech and / or physical disabilities. We partner with families, schools, and professionals to create opportunities for communication, participation, and independence. We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Consultant to provide contract-based services in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role offers flexibility and the chance to make a direct impact through evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized intervention plans focused on AAC and multi-modal communication
- Provide direct therapy to support functional communication, participation, and independence
- Collaborate with families, schools, and interdisciplinary teams to support IEP / IPP processes and coordinated care
- Train and coach families, caregivers, and professionals to create effective communication environments and use AAC strategies consistently
- Document client progress, prepare reports, and provide consultation on communication tools, technologies, and partner strategies
- Contribute to professional development and program growth by sharing expertise and resources
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language PathologyCalifornia SLP license (RPE candidates considered)CCC-SLP preferredKnowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems, strategies, and technologyExperience working as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary teamStrong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skillsTo Apply
