Mechanical CAD Drafter

American Extrusion International is a global company engaged in the design, development, manufacture, installation and service of Grain Extrusion Equipment and other up / downstream accessories for the Food Industry.

Job Duties

• At least be on the last semester of their Associate degree
• Be able to draw prints to specifications
• Be familiar with the GD&T standards
• Be proactive and self-motivated with interest and capacity to learn
• Be responsible and dedicated to deliver quality work in a timely manner
• Be able to collaborate and communicate with all implied parties
• Be organized and able to create and maintain a documentation system
• Have technical writing capabilities

Responsibilities

Create prints in 2-D and 3-D as instructed

Update archived prints when necessary

Communicate effectively with Shop Supervisor and Design Engineer regarding jobs

Produce quality work

Communicate effectively with co-workers when necessary

Create technical documentation, including but not limited to, operator and service manuals

Qualifications

The successful candidate must :

Demonstrate ability to use Autodesk Inventor

Demonstrate basic math skills

Possess excellent communication skills

Have an Associates Degree or be in the last semester

Be organized and take pride on the work

Be able to work unsupervised following guidelines set by superior.

Job Type : Full Time, Non-Exempt Salary Range : $45,000 to $65,000 based on experience ($21.63-$31.25 / hr)
