job_description.job_card.job_descriptionStarting base salary : $260,000 - $300,000 per year Daily schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. - 4 : 30 p.m. Provides overflow interpretation services to remote client locations. Interprets diagnostic digital radiography, CT, MRI and US examinations of the head, spine, neck, body, extremities and internal organs as appropriate. Accesses studies for interpretation through the VISN 16 Picture Archiving and Communications System(s) and reports findings electronically Protects printed and electronic files containing sensitive data Uses word processing software to execute several office automation functions Performs lab review, identifying abnormalities according to established guidelines. Current, Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State Preferred : Board certification or eligible in Diagnostic Radiology. Preferred : Cross Sectional Body Imaging preferred. Preferred : Sub-Specialty Board Certification. Education Debt Reduction Program (Student Loan Repayment) : Assistance with payment of outstanding medical school loans. Paid Time Off : 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME) Retirement : Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA CME : Possible $1,000 per year reimbursement (must be full-time with board certification) Contract : No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting Possible recruitment or relocation incentives
