Patient Accounts Team Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Accounts Supervisor to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead a team responsible for managing patient billing and accounts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

  • Supervise and mentor team members to ensure high performance and professional development
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal procedures
  • Daily / weekly Performance Reports
  • Assist with Production Manager duties including but not limited to : interviewing, scheduling and performance reviews
  • Handles complex requests such as escalated calls
  • Holds production meetings to review job status, metrics, workflow issues, and roadblocks
  • Serves as a member of the organizations overall success by contributing, supporting and improving recovery, patient satisfaction and team morale
  • Monthly contract meetings
  • Interviewing / staffing

Skills and Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in patient accounts, medical billing, or healthcare finance
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Knowledge of healthcare billing software
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Must have previous supervisor experience
