Position Summary
Aggregate Mineral Resource Group, LLC (AMRG) is seeking a skilled Electrician to support our Iron Ore and Precious Metals Division. This role plays a vital part in maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable electrical operations across the mine site.
The Electrician will be responsible for installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and controls ranging from low voltage data lines to medium voltage power systems up to 66KV. The position requires extensive experience with commercial and industrial electrical work, proficiency in interpreting electrical drawings, and the ability to collaborate with other trades to complete complex projects.
The ideal candidate will hold a current California General Electrician Certification (or be in the process of obtaining it) and bring at least five years of verifiable experience in commercial and industrial electrical work. Residential wiring is not considered relevant experience. Strong troubleshooting skills, commitment to safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications / Knowledge / Critical Skills
Required :
Current California Certified General Electrician (preferred) or actively in process.
Minimum of 5 years of commercial and industrial electrical experience.
Ability to read and understand English-language electrical drawings and specifications.
Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical systems, motors, drives, and controls.
Ability to identify voltage class of equipment and work safely within those limits.
Demonstrated teamwork and communication skills; capable of independent work.
Preferred :
Experience with mining, aggregate, or heavy industrial electrical systems.
Familiarity with solar installation and troubleshooting.
MSHA Part 48 certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
Physical Demands / Environmental Factors
Regular standing, walking, bending, climbing, and equipment handling.
Ability to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds frequently.
Exposure to dust, vibration, noise, heat, outdoor environments, and heavy industrial plant conditions.
Use of PPE required : hard hats, gloves, respirators, safety goggles, and steel-toed boots.
Compensation
The Electrician position offers a competitive compensation package, with an hourly rate generally ranging from $25.00 to $45.00 per hour, depending on the candidate’s certification level, relevant experience, and demonstrated expertise. Candidates with substantial commercial and industrial electrical backgrounds, as well as those holding a California General Electrician Certification, may be considered at the higher end of this range.
