Agricultural Driver - Mechanic

Crop Support Commodities Transporter

Loads, secures, transports, delivers, and unloads specific crop support commodities to and from specified destinations.

Inspects vehicle and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance.

Prepares and maintains records in accordance with Company DOT requirements and Drivers Manual.

Meets all applicable DOT and WI Dept. Agriculture and WDNR rules and regulations.

Hold or be able to obtain a Pesticide Applicator Training license (PAT).

Provides exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering inquiries.

Supports customer demand by working evening hours and weekends, as needed.

Participates in the required on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend deliveries or response.

Essential Duties :

• Ability to operate various pieces of assigned equipment, including trucks, sprayers, tractors, forklifts, skid steers, and general farm equipment.
• Must be capable of climbing into equipment without assistance.
• Capable of reading and writing the English Language in sentences and paragraphs.
• Must have the ability to use various software, including Microsoft products, various analytical and agricultural software, email, and word processing programs.
• Must be able to comprehend the consequences of inadequate or over-application of materials such as fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides.
• Must keep up technically with license requirements, including techniques and various product use. This includes being able to comprehend and understand Safety Data Sheet (SDS) information, product application instructions, and regulatory information.
