Cath Lab RN responsible for direct patient care, medication administration, and assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures. Supports both routine and emergency cases while maintaining patient safety, advocacy, and compliance with sterile techniques.

Requirement Details

Certifications (Required) ACLS, BLS (in hand at submission); NIHSS required at submission

Experience (Minimum) 2 years Cath Lab RN experience (1 yr minimum; 2 preferred)

Education ADN required; BSN / MSN preferred

License Active AR or Compact State RN License (in hand at submission)

Charting System Cerner (preferred; any accepted)

Call Requirement Yes – 9 to 10 days per month; 2 weekend call shifts per contract

Weekend Requirement Every other weekend (call)

Orientation Policy 40 hours (16 hours non-billable; remainder billable)

Patient Population Adults (cardiac, vascular, structural, IR patients)

Daily Census ~11 cases / day; 3 procedure rooms

Floating Not specified

Compliance Notes SSN, Nursys, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required with submission; RTO must be declared at submission; license in hand required; labs within 72 hrs of offer; all certs must be AHA

Local Radius Rule 50 miles; locals not accepted
