This 10-bed Neuro ICU provides advanced, specialized care for patients with neurological and neurosurgical conditions in a Level I Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center.
This role is ideal for nurses passionate about high-acuity neuroscience care who want to expand their skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Deliver direct nursing care for patients with critical neurological conditions.
Collaborate with neurosurgeons, intensivists, and interdisciplinary teams to drive safe outcomes.
Administer medications and educate patients / families about care plans and recovery pathways.
Support evidence-based practice, continuous quality improvement, and patient safety standards.
Qualifications Required Active RN license in Florida or Compact state (Compact license holders must obtain FL license within 60 days of relocation).
At least 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within the last 3 years); higher acuity than Med-Surg preferred, strong Med-Surg candidates considered.
ADN or Diploma in Nursing.
BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Neuro ICU or critical care experience.
BSN degree.
CCRN (Adult) or TNCC within 1 year of hire.
