American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of strong orthopedic outpatient experience for a primarily outpatient role with some acute care duties.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is 90% outpatient with a strong orthopedic focus and 10% acute care including observation, inpatient, and swing bed responsibilitiesAdult patient population with exposure to chronic pain and general medical conditionsExperience with vestibular, concussion management, and aquatic therapy is a plus but not requiredWork at a critical access setting that is an Adult Level IV facility with 25 staffed bedsStandard schedule is five 8-hour day shifts, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PMRotating 4-hour Saturday shift (8 AM–12 PM) anticipated 1 or 2 times per assignmentNo floating outside physical therapy scope of practice is requiredEpic is used for charting and EMRFree employee parking is availableMain responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients in both outpatient and acute care settings with a caseload focused on orthopedic and chronic painTeam-oriented environment in a small, critical access hospitalHoliday coverage may be required as neededFinalized RTO requests must be submitted prior to assignment; no RTO allowed during first week and no more than 7 days total per assignmentMust not have worked as permanent staff within the previous 9 months to be eligibleScrubs of any color are permitted for all specialtiesMedical or religious vaccine exemptions require documentationCandidates must be able to complete in-person fingerprinting in MN prior to starting and are financially responsible for associated travelFirst-time travelers will be consideredLab work must be completed within 48 hours of signing to avoid cancellation\n \n Requirements\n
