- Entry-Level Service Technician As an Entry-Level Service Technician, you’ll split your time between our shop and the field.
- Two days a week, you’ll receive hands-on training to refurbish and rebuild coffee equipment at our Charlotte facility.
- Three days a week, you’ll perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs at customer locations, helping ensure their equipment runs smoothly.
- No prior coffee equipment experience is required — we’ll provide full training!
- A company vehicle is provided for your routes, and you can drive it to and from work.
Daily Duties and Responsibilities :
Service Department (2 days per week) : Clean, refurbish, and test brewers, grinders, and related equipment Assist with service calls as needed Customer Locations (3 days per week) : Install, maintain, and troubleshoot coffee and tea equipment (calibration, descaling, leak checks, part replacements) Perform basic preventive maintenance and minor repairs Clean and maintain coffee and tea equipment Stock machines with product Document work performed; maintain parts and stock in vehicle Additional Responsibilities : Deliver friendly, professional service and communicate clearly with customers and teammates Follow safety procedures in electrical, plumbing, and food services environments Operate company vehicle safely and keep tools and vehicle organized Collaborate with service and warehouse teams as needed Perform other duties as assigned What you'll learn : Diagnostic basics : water, temperature, pressure, flow, and electrical Preventive maintenance best practices and common repair workflows Part identification, inventory handling, and documentation standards Customer service skills in a field-service setting Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record (company vehicle provided) Mechanical and / or electrical aptitude and willingness to learn (preferred) Strong commitment to customer service and professional communication Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Ability to work independently and in a team setting Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to lift and move equipment safely (up to 50 lbs) Required : Valid Driver’s License Benefits : Health, Dental, and Vision insurance Health Savings Account PTO 401K This position includes a company vehicle for work routes (with take-home privileges) Capitol Coffee Systems, Inc. provided the following inclusive hiring information : We are an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants equally without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status.Job Type :
