About The Position
Job Title : Electrophysiology RN
Profession : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 10 hours (06 : 45 - 17 : 15)
Experience : Minimum of 1 year preferred
License : Florida State or compact license required
Certifications : ACLS, BLS required; CCI RCES and / or CCI RCIS preferred

Description :
The Electrophysiology RN will provide care in a fast-paced environment.
The position requires being on call and floating as needed.
Candidates should have experience in electrophysiology or cardiac care.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Weekend coverage is not required.
Documentation systems used in the unit include moving to EPIC.
Candidates must comply with medical and religious exemptions for vaccines.
Additional skills in various cardiac procedures are necessary.
The RN will assist with procedures such as cardiac ablation, mapping, and device implantations.
Experience with patient monitoring and emergency medications is essential.
Support from interdisciplinary teams is available.
The role requires participation in infection prevention protocols.
Candidates should be familiar with various cardiac diagnostic procedures.
The ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage sedation is vital.
The work environment includes adult and geriatric patient populations.
Patient care involves procedures in the electrophysiology lab and related specialties.
