POSITION

SUMMARY :

The Senior Superintendent is responsible for

field operations on the project(s) assigned in order to achieve safe, timely,

and profitable completion of each project. This position must demonstrate

strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills, as well as

strong communication and client service skills.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Implementation of Operation Zero and all Manhattan

safety policies.

Participates and executes roles to help create an

Injury-Free Environment through own actions and mentoring of others

Direct day-to-day on-site supervision of field labor

force

Review and approve Trade Contractor Pay Applications

and material invoices with the Project Manager

Develop and maintain site logistics plan in

coordination with the Project Manager

Development / coordinate / execute Safety, Hazcom, SWPPP,

QA / QC plan, etc

Attend and lead portions of, if not all of, project

meetings, including but not limited to preconstruction, preinstallation,

subcontractor, owner, and safety in coordination with the Project

Manager

Assist with the Preconstruction / Estimating phase of the

project

Assures necessary permits are secured, and inspections

occur

Responsible for conducting

themselves in accordance with our Guiding Principles and exhibiting

Able to effectively lead teams through projects of high

Exhibits the ability to manage a team with two or more assistant / area

superintendents

Exhibits the ability to manage multiple projects with

separate teams

A Senior Superintendent can lead teams with varying levels

of experience while developing team members through training and

mentoring

MINIMUM

QUALIFICATIONS :

Bachelor's Degree- Construction Management, Engineering or

equivalent. May substitute required education degree with related

experience on a one-to-one basis
