About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Nebraska, starting Sep 1, 2025. This role involves day shifts from Monday to Friday, 8 : 00am-4 : 30pm, ideal for those who prefer a structured weekday schedule. The successful candidate will be involved in delivering primary care services, emphasizing family medicine.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive patient care within the scope of family medicine
  • Diagnose and manage a variety of medical conditions
  • Prescribe and administer treatments based on best medical practices
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
  • Maintain accurate patient records using the Aprima EMR system
  • Adhere to the highest standards of medical practice, ethics, and professionalism at all times

    • Additional Information

  • Must be licensed to practice in Nebraska
  • At least 2 years of experience in Family Medicine required
  • IHS experience is highly valued but not mandatory
  • Must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision
