About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Nursing

Duration : 14 weeks

Shift : Night 3x12-Hour

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in TELE / PCU required

License : Compact or state license required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required

Must-Have :

• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Familiarity with insulin drips, heparin drips, and potential cardiac drips preferred
• Patient ratio can be up to 1 : 4-5
• Local candidates within a 75-mile radius are not accepted

Description :

Every other weekend is required.

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of TELE / PCU experience.

First-time travelers are accepted.

The unit cares for adults and geriatrics with a variety of complex medical conditions.

Patient diagnoses include COPD, CHF, vascular issues, endocarditis, acute ESRD, and DKA.

Patients are monitored and considered step-down from the ICU.

Staffing includes interdisciplinary support such as IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Pharmacy.

Candidates will float within the facility or to nearby affiliate hospitals.

Reference from a charge nurse or supervisor is required at the time of submission.

Candidates must provide any time-off requests at the submission stage, as they cannot be approved after the offer.

Previous experience working in this facility must be disclosed.

If there is a licensing hit, the candidate's submission will be rejected.

This position requires participation in various compliance assessments and exams.

Compliance with vaccination requirements for COVID-19 and flu is mandatory, with exemptions only for medical or religious reasons.
