Concrete Laborer

Job Title :

• Laborer Craft :                      Concrete Reports to :          Foreman               Exempt Status :   Non-Exempt (Hourly) Position Objective / Description : Performs a variety of masonry construction tasks under the direction of a crew foreman.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Load, unload, or distribute materials, machinery, or tools to and from designated locations Mix mortar and cement, operate wet concrete saws to trim materials into proper sizing Assist masons in preparing and finishing cement, concrete brick and other masonry work to grade Serve masonry materials to masons; hold and clean tools Use picks, shovels, and rakes to level earth or asphalt to grade specifications Position or dismantle forms for pouring concrete, using saws, hammers, nails or bolts May be called upon to operate a variety of power and hand tools :
