Siting Specialist

GAI Consultants is seeking a Siting Specialist to provide experience and team leadership in siting and routing studies. The successful candidate's primary work responsibility will be to provide task leadership and technical execution for siting and documentation efforts relating to electric transmission projects. The Siting Specialist will also assist with project budget and schedule management, coordination with clients and regulatory agencies, proposal preparation and cost estimating, and quality control reviews.

This position will be performed on a hybrid schedule. Other office locations and / or remote locations may also be considered.

As Siting Specialist, you will :

• Lead electric transmission line siting and routing investigation tasks and prepare detailed siting documentation for regulatory review.
• Participate in public outreach efforts including attending workshops and information events.
• Serve as a Task Manager to prepare and maintain control of budgets, scopes, schedules, and quality of deliverables for specific tasks.
• Prepare proposals and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and the public.
• Travel occasionally to project field views, public outreach events, and client meetings.
