C&E Rentals is growing and looking for an experienced Lead Mechanic to take on a Shop Foreman role at the heart of our operation. This is a working foreman position — you’ll turn wrenches, solve problems, and keep the fleet running strong, all while helping guide and support our shop team.

What You’ll Do :

  • Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, gas, and diesel issues on a wide variety of construction equipment.
  • Perform regular maintenance and inspections to keep our rental fleet in top shape.
  • Train and support other mechanics in the shop.
  • Help demonstrate equipment to customers and answer technical questions.
  • Maintain accurate service records and follow safety protocols.

What We’re Looking For :

  • 3–5 years of hands-on mechanical experience (construction equipment a big plus).
  • Strong understanding of engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
  • Able to read schematics and have your own tools.
  • A natural team leader with solid communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and high school diploma or equivalent.
