Security - Medical Transport

Transport people and / or participants to various care services and / or participant residence while maintaining the assigned schedule.

Responsibilities :

Operate vehicle in a safe manner. Inform supervisor of any unusual situations or accidents

immediately.

Assist riders entering and exiting the vehicle and / or location / building. Comply with all traffic

safety rules and regulations.

  • Assist the department supervisor with the daily activities of the Transportation department.

Inspect and maintain vehicle daily for cleaning and safety issues. Maintain accurate logs per

required standards.

  • Follow established schedules, adjust schedules to meet unanticipated changes, and determines safest and most efficient pickup and delivery routes.

    • Drive specially equipped van to deliver physically limited persons and / or participants to various

    destinations; assure that wheelchair lifts and tie down equipment are properly operated and that riders and / or participants are delivered to appointments in a timely manner.
