ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our team as a Loader Operator, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining rail sites, buildings, and grounds. You will be responsible for performing equipment operation as well as maintenance tasks, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

This position is located in Plano, TX.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Operate a rubber-tired tractor-type vehicle equipped with a front-mounted hydraulically powered bucket or scoop to lift and transport bulk materials onto trucks.
  • Successfully start the engine, shift gears, and maneuver the loader while moving levers to control the bucket, ensuring effective material handling.
  • Complete assignments as outlined by the Foreman, consistently following safe operating procedures, with tasks inspected for optimization.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on the loader, including lubrication, fueling, and cleaning to ensure peak performance.
  • Maintain clear communication with supervisors and customers to support seamless operations.
  • Uphold a commitment to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work areas, fostering a safety-first culture.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned to support overall operations.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Required Education : High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Required Work Experience : 2 years of relevant experience in related duties
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to use hand and power tools
  • Understanding of company processes and procedures
  • Detail-oriented, capable of prioritizing multiple tasks effectively
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory

    • Additional Requirements :

  • Adherence to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is essential. Employees must be clean-shaven to ensure effective respirator use.
