Lockheed Martin, a leading technology innovation company, is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join their Pike County Operations team in Troy, Alabama. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and production of critical defense systems.

Job Description :

As an Industrial Engineer, your responsibilities will include :

  • Classical Industrial Engineering : Conducting time and motion studies, designing efficient facility layouts and workstations, and implementing process improvement initiatives.
  • Performance Optimization : Developing work measurements and time standards, analyzing productivity and performance, managing capacity and resources, and conducting simulation modeling.
  • Cost Management : Performing cost analysis and estimating, identifying cost savings opportunities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Team Collaboration : Supporting Performance Management Teams (PMTs) by analyzing metrics, identifying areas for process improvement, and implementing solutions.

    Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, Engineering Management, or a related field.
  • Understanding of Industrial Engineering tools and techniques.
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
  • Ability to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) background check to obtain "employee possessor" status.

    • Desired Skills :

  • Experience applying Industrial Engineering technical skills like facility layouts, data analysis, and process improvements.
  • Experience with simulation modeling.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

    • This position offers relocation assistance and a 4×10-hour work schedule with 3 days off per week.
